We have staff serving in food services, maintenance, the shelters, the office, and our thrift store, so your skills and interests could serve in a variety of ways. However, please keep in mind that the Mission is a 24/7 ministry with most of our needs being evenings and weekends. For specific current openings, see the link above.
The Mission pays above minimum wage in all positions and offers higher pay for those working overnight. We have a tiered structure, so final rate of pay is based on the level of the position. More will be detailed in the interview process.
Part Time Employes: Earn 1 hour of Medical Leave for every 30 hours worked, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Shift Premium for 3rd shift, Free Access to Christian Counseling Services.
Full Time Employees: up to 72 hours Medical Leave per year, Vacation days available for use in the first year of employment, Medical Insurance with generous employer contribution, Vision Insurance, Dental Insurance, Free Access to Christian Counseling Services.
Sharing the message of God's salvation is the main purpose of the Mission. Staff who are gifted and willing may be asked to cover open chapel opportunities. All staff, as believers, are asked to follow the precept in 1 Peter 3:15, to be ready to give an answer for the hope that lies within them. Guests may also approach staff and ask them to pray with them; this is encouraged, respective of the tasks we all need to accomplish as part of our job roles.
